´Ferula assa-foetida or Anghoozeh is a plant with thick, fleshy roots. This plant grows in hot and calcareous regions of Asia such as mountains of Afghanistan and  too however the largest producer is Iran region globally. The fruit of this plant is oval and brown in color. From the stem of this plant, a kind of gum is extracted, which is called Anghoozeh. It is a good protector against triglycerides and cholesterol while eating fatty foods.

´A substance called coumarin in this plant dilutes the blood. Anghoozeh analysis shows that it contains 67.8% carbohydrates, 16.0% moisture, 4% protein, 1% fat, 7% minerals and 4.1% fiber. Its minerals and vitamins are high in calcium plus phosphorus, iron, carotene, riboflavin and niacin, which are useful for strengthening the body.
